63216-95-5 Usage
Uses
Used in Poultry Industry:
2-[(2-cyanoethyl)phenylamino]ethyl ethylcarbamate is used as a coccidiostat for preventing coccidiosis in poultry, such as broiler chickens and turkeys, due to its ability to inhibit the growth and reproduction of coccidia parasites. This helps in reducing the incidence and severity of the disease, thereby improving the health and economic viability of poultry farming operations.
Used in Medicated Feed:
2-[(2-cyanoethyl)phenylamino]ethyl ethylcarbamate is used as an active ingredient in medicated feed for the purpose of controlling coccidiosis in poultry. Its inclusion in feed formulations allows for a targeted approach to disease prevention, ensuring that the health of the flock is maintained through a controlled release of the compound.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 63216-95-5 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 6,3,2,1 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 63216-95:
(7*6)+(6*3)+(5*2)+(4*1)+(3*6)+(2*9)+(1*5)=115
115 % 10 = 5
So 63216-95-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Preparation of N-substituted carbamates
-
, (2008/06/13)
A method of preparing an N-substituted carbamate comprising reacting by heating in sulfolane at a temperature ranging from about 65° C. to about 100° C. (1) an alkali metal cyanate, (2) at least one sulfolane-soluble organic halide of the formula RX wherein X is halogen and R represents a radical selected from the group consisting of alkyl, alkenyl, aralkyl and aralkenyl, and (3) at least one sulfolane-soluble non-aromatic monohydric or polyhydric alcohol, and isolating the N-substituted carbamate thereby produced from the resulting reaction mass.
