It is a derivative of aniline, where two chlorine atoms are attached to the 3rd and 4th carbon atoms of the benzene ring, and two 2-chloroethyl groups are attached to the nitrogen atom. 3,4-dichloro-N,N-bis(2-chloroethyl)aniline is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with a density of 1.44 g/cm3 and a melting point of 21-22°C.
