N-[5-(benzoylamino)-9,10-dihydro-9,10-dioxoanthryl]-5,8,13,14-tetrahydro-5,8,14-trioxonaphth[2,3-c]acridine-10-carboxamide is used as a dye for cotton fabric, providing orange to red light orange colors. It offers good levelness but has a poorer dead cotton covering power. It can be utilized for suspension body dyeing and is suitable for cotton cloth printing, yielding direct color results upon printing. When used for dyeing PVA, the color is lighter and darker compared to cotton. It also shows good dyeing properties and fastness when used for silk dyeing.
