6441-73-2 Usage
Uses
Used in Textile Industry:
3,6-diamino-2,7,10-trimethylacridinium chloride is used as a dye for cotton fabrics due to its yellow-orange color and fastness properties. It provides good light fastness, perspiration fastness, ironing fastness, and soaping, ensuring the color remains vibrant and resistant to fading and staining.
Used in Cosmetic Industry:
3,6-diamino-2,7,10-trimethylacridinium chloride can be used as a colorant in cosmetic products, such as hair dyes, due to its yellow-orange hue and stability properties. Its fastness characteristics ensure that the color remains consistent and does not easily fade or stain.
Used in Analytical Chemistry:
3,6-diamino-2,7,10-trimethylacridinium chloride can be employed as a reagent or indicator in various analytical chemistry applications, such as titrations or spectrophotometry, due to its distinct color and stability properties. Its fastness characteristics make it suitable for use in precise measurements and analysis.
Preparation
Basic dye C.I. 46025 (by Formaldehyde?and 4-Methylbenzene-1,3-diamine?reaction, product and amino reaction hydrochloric acid and ammonium chloride heating or remove ammonia, melting with ferric chloride and oxidation) and Dimethyl sulfate?or and Methyl 4-methylbenzenesulfonate?reaction. Note: the market many similar Basic dye, they are through the Basic dye C.I. 46025 or 46065 (from Benzaldehyde and ?4-Methylbenzene-1,3-diamine?diazo, ?cyclization, and then by oxidation with ferric chloride into a base derived. When alcohol and mineral acid or halide burning reaction, amino group is alkylated, but the use of Dimethyl sulfate or Methyl 4-methylbenzenesulfonate?or Ethyl p-toluenesulfonate, the resulting formation of a real acridine heterocyclic compounds.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 6441-73-2 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 6,4,4 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 6441-73:
(6*6)+(5*4)+(4*4)+(3*1)+(2*7)+(1*3)=92
92 % 10 = 2
So 6441-73-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
