The invention discloses a method for preparing an ethyl 2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-methoxyiminoacetate intermediate. The method comprises the following steps: dissolving ethyl 2-methoxyimino acetoacetate, 1,3-dihalo-5,5-dimethylhydantoin and protonic acid in a solvent, carrying out continuous reaction, and carrying out post-treatment after the reaction is finished to obtain the ethyl 2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-methoxyiminoacetate intermediate, wherein the ethyl 2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-methoxyiminoacetate intermediate is 4-halo-2-methoxyimino ethyl acetoacetate.
