Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 6492-73-5 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 6,4,9 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 6492-73:
(6*6)+(5*4)+(4*9)+(3*2)+(2*7)+(1*3)=115
115 % 10 = 5
So 6492-73-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
