Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 65228-33-3 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 6,5,2,2 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 65228-33:
(7*6)+(6*5)+(5*2)+(4*2)+(3*8)+(2*3)+(1*3)=123
123 % 10 = 3
So 65228-33-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Tetrazole analogs of phenylalanine derivatives as tyrosine hydroxylase inhibitors
McNeil,Williams Jr.,Darling
, p. 1642 - 1644 (2007/10/08)
Eight new tetrazole analogs of phenylalanine derivatives in which the carboxyl group was replaced by a tetrazole ring were synthesized. At a concentration of 2.5 x 10-5 M, each compound exhibited greater than 50% inhibition of tyrosine hydroxylase activity.
