Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 66529-19-9 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 6,6,5,2 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 66529-19:
(7*6)+(6*6)+(5*5)+(4*2)+(3*9)+(2*1)+(1*9)=149
149 % 10 = 9
So 66529-19-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis, characterization and in vivo anthelmintic activity of some novel N-Mannich bases of benzimidazoles
Murti, Yogesh,Arora, Rashmi,Pathak, Devender
, p. 627 - 631 (2011/08/05)
As a part of ongoing efforts towards finding novel anthelmintic agents, N-Mannich bases of benzimidazole were obtained by condensation of substituted secondary amines and aldehyde in ethanol. These compounds were identified on the basis of melting point range, Rf values, elemental analysis, IR and 1H NMR spectral analysis. The synthetic work is fruitless without performing biological activities, so the newly synthesized compounds were screened for pharmacological activity. Anthelmintic activity was carried out against Eudrilus species of earthworms.
