METHOD FOR PRODUCING 2-CHLORO-1,3,3,3-TETRAFLUOROPROPENE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method that suppresses the production of by-product and selectively produces 2-chloro-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene(1224). SOLUTION: The method for producing 2-chloro-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene(1224) comprises bringing an organic base into contact with 2,3-dichloro-1,1,1,3-tetrafluoropropane(234da). The organic base is preferably an organic base having a pKa of 7 or higher and more preferably, is an organic base having a pKa of 10 or higher. The organic base is preferably recovered and reused.
