Reactions of thioketones possessing a conjugated C=C bond with diazo compounds
Egli, Daniel H.,Linden, Anthony,Heimgartner, Heinz
, p. 3041 - 3055 (2008/01/27)
The reactions of several thioketones containing a conjugated C=C bond with diazo compounds were investigated. All of the selected compounds reacted via a 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition with the C=S group and subsequent N2 elimination to yield thioca
Generation and Reactions of Phosphorin 1-Sulfides
Tanaka, Hideyuki,Motoki, Shinichi
, p. 1558 - 1560 (2007/10/02)
Phosphorin 1-sulfides generated by the thermolysis of 1-phospha-2-thiabicyclodeca-3,7,9-triene 1-sulfides reacted with triphenylphosphine, dienophiles, or nucleophiles to give the corresponding phosphorins, 1-phosphabicycloocta-2,5-diene 1-sulfide, or 1,2-dihydrophosphorin 1-sulfide derivatives, respectively.
REACTION OF CHALCONES WITH 2,4-BIS(4-METHOXYPHENYL)-1,3,2,4-DITHIADIPHOSPHETANE-2,4-DISULFIDE
Kametani, Shunichi,Ohmura, Haruo,Tanaka, Hideyuki,Motoki, Shinichi
, p. 793 - 796 (2007/10/02)
Though the reaction of chalcones 2 with 2,4-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,3,2,4-dithiadiphosphetane-2,4-disulfide 1 in refluxing benzene gave the corresponding thiochalcone dimers 3, the reaction in refluxing xylene gave new phosphorus-containing compounds, 2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-3,5-diaryl-Δ4-1,2-thiaphospholene-2-sulfides 4.
