67513-10-4 Usage
General Description
1,1'-Biphenyl, 4,4'-bis(2-methylpropoxy)- is a chemical compound that consists of two benzene rings connected by a single carbon-carbon bond. It is also known as bis(2-methylpropoxy)biphenyl or MOBP. This colorless to pale yellow liquid is commonly used as a heat transfer fluid in various industrial applications and as a stabilizer in the production of polymers and plastics. It is considered to be a relatively stable and non-reactive compound, with low toxicity and potential for bioaccumulation. However, it has been identified as a potential environmental pollutant and may have harmful effects on aquatic organisms. Additionally, it is important to handle and store this chemical with proper safety measures to avoid any potential health or environmental risks.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 67513-10-4 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 6,7,5,1 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 67513-10:
(7*6)+(6*7)+(5*5)+(4*1)+(3*3)+(2*1)+(1*0)=124
124 % 10 = 4
So 67513-10-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Atom-efficient cross-coupling reactions of functionalized 2-bromo- and 2-iodothiophenes have been demonstrated using triarylbismuths as atom-efficient multicoupling organometallic nucleophiles under palladium-catalyzed conditions. These couplings with various functionalized triarylbismuths proceeded smoothly to afford the corresponding functionalized 2-arylthiophenes in high yields. Georg Thieme Verlag Stuttgart · New York.
