General Description
The chemical 2-Hydroxy-3-[(6-methylheptyl)oxy]-1-propanesulfonic acid sodium salt is a sodium salt of a sulfonic acid derivative. It has the molecular formula C13H28O5SNa and a molecular weight of 314.41 g/mol. 2-Hydroxy-3-[(6-methylheptyl)oxy]-1-propanesulfonic acid sodium salt is used as a surfactant, emulsifier, and wetting agent in various industrial and household products, including shampoos, conditioners, and soaps. It is also commonly used in agricultural products as a dispersing agent and adjuvant.
