CuII(ATSM) significantly delayed onset of disease (paralysis and prolonged lifespan) in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) mice model. Also, Cu-ATSM was reported to lower lipid peroxidation in a model of ischemicreperfusion injury.
