The first representatives of the previously unknown types of pentaerythritol-based phospholipids have been prepared.The intermediate species were triacylpentaerythritol cyclophosphites as well as dialkyl amidophosphites and O-isopropylidenepentaerythritol propylenephosphites.These were further oxidized into P(V) derivatives.Phosphoacetals were converted into phospholipids by acylating with stearoyl chloride.
