3-ETHOXY LACTARANE SESQUITERPENES OF LACTARIUS ORIGIN ANTIFEEDANT ACTIVITY

Very high antifeedant activity of 3-O-ethylfurandiol (artifact) against the storage pests Sitophilus granarius L. and Tribolium confusum Duv. prompted us to synthesize other 3-ethoxy-lactarane derivatives to check their antifeedant activity.The structures of compounds were substantiated by spectroscopy.Structure of 3-O-ethyl-8-O-acetyllactarorufin A was also confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction.The results of antifeedant activity are presented.
