Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 72296-90-3 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 7,2,2,9 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 72296-90:
(7*7)+(6*2)+(5*2)+(4*9)+(3*6)+(2*9)+(1*0)=143
143 % 10 = 3
So 72296-90-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Direct Access to Primary Amines from Alkenes by Selective Metal-Free Hydroamination

supporting information, p. 9875 - 9880 (2021/03/29)
Direct and selective synthesis of primary amines from easily available precursors is attractive yet challenging. Herein, we report the rapid synthesis of primary amines from alkenes via metal-free regioselective hydroamination at room temperature. Ammonium carbonate was used as ammonia surrogate for the first time, allowing for efficient conversion of terminal and internal alkenes into linear, α-branched, and α-tertiary primary amines under mild conditions. This method provides a straightforward and powerful approach to a wide spectrum of advanced, highly functionalized primary amines which are of particular interest in pharmaceutical chemistry and other areas.
