The invention discloses a wide spectrum monoclonal antibody, which can identify multiple trimethoprim drugs. The monoclonal antibody is secreted by a hybridoma cell strain TMP/2G, which is preserved in China Center for Type Culture Collection. The preservation number is CCTCC No. C201783. The invention also discloses an ELISA method for detecting residual trimethoprim drugs in milk, honey, and edible tissues of animals and a kit thereof. The prepared monoclonal antibody has the advantages of high sensitivity, wide spectrum, high detection accuracy, high precision, simpleness, convenience, andeasy operation.

Novel substituted 2,4-diamino-5-benzyl pyrimidines are described. The novel substances have antimicrobial activity and are particularly suitable for inhibiting the growth of mycobacteria. Combined with inhibitors such as diaminodiphenylsulphones, ring-substituted 4-aminodiphenylsulphones or ring and/or nitrogen-substituted diaminodiphenylsulphones, they have a marked synergistic activity.
