Usage

General Description

3-METHYLTHIO-4H-1,2,4-TRIAZOLE is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C4H6N2S. It is a thioether derivative of 1,2,4-triazole and contains a methyl group attached to the sulfur atom. 3-METHYLTHIO-4H-1,2,4-TRIAZOLE is used as a fungicide and plant growth regulator in agriculture to protect crops from fungal diseases and promote their growth. It is also used as an intermediate in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, dyes, and other organic compounds. 3-METHYLTHIO-4H-1,2,4-TRIAZOLE is classified as a mild skin irritant and may have adverse effects on aquatic organisms, so proper handling and disposal are important when using this chemical.
