7510-42-1 Usage

General Description

2,4,6-trinitrophenol - N,N-dimethylaniline (1:1) is a chemical compound formed by the combination of 2,4,6-trinitrophenol, also known as picric acid, and N,N-dimethylaniline in a 1:1 ratio. Picric acid is a yellow crystalline solid used as an explosive and to make dyes and drugs, while N,N-dimethylaniline is a colorless to pale yellow liquid used as a catalyst in organic reactions and in the production of dyes. When combined, these chemicals form a mixture with potential uses as an explosive or in dye production, and should be handled with care due to their potentially hazardous properties.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 7510-42-1 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 7,5,1 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 7510-42:
(6*7)+(5*5)+(4*1)+(3*0)+(2*4)+(1*2)=81
81 % 10 = 1
So 7510-42-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
