Derivatives of triazolopyridazine-3-carboxylic acid (1b-d, 6a-f) have been synthesized from new hydrazones (2a-d) prepared from 3-hydrazino-6-chloropyridazine and glyoxylic acid derivatives.Intermediates (5a-c) of the ring closure of 2 by bromine in acetic acid were isolated.Reductive dechlorination of 1c gave the triazoles 7-9 besides 6d.
