7633-29-6 Usage
Description
Psychotrine is an alkaloid derived from the bark of Cephaelis Ipecacuanha (Brot.) A. Rich. It forms colorless prisms of the tetrahydrate when crystallized from aqueous solvents, exhibiting pale blue fluorescence. Psychotrine is sparingly soluble in water, diethyl ether, or benzene but dissolves freely in chloroform, ethanol, or acetone. It contains three methoxyl groups, an ethyl group, and a phenolic hydroxyl group.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 7633-29-6 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 7,6,3 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 7633-29:
(6*7)+(5*6)+(4*3)+(3*3)+(2*2)+(1*9)=106
106 % 10 = 6
So 7633-29-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
