The chemical compound "[Rh2Cl(N3)(CO)2((bis(diphenylphosphino)methane)2)]" is a rhodium-based complex with a unique structure. It consists of two rhodium atoms, each bonded to a chlorine atom, a nitrate group (N3), and two carbon monoxide molecules (CO). The compound also features two bis(diphenylphosphino)methane ligands, which are bidentate, meaning they can bind to the metal center through two points. These ligands are composed of a central carbon atom bonded to two diphenylphosphino groups, which in turn are connected to phenyl rings. The overall structure of the compound is designed to stabilize the rhodium center and facilitate its interaction with other molecules, making it a potentially useful catalyst in various chemical reactions.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 77010-07-2 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 7,7,0,1 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 77010-07:
(7*7)+(6*7)+(5*0)+(4*1)+(3*0)+(2*0)+(1*7)=102
102 % 10 = 2
So 77010-07-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Complexes of Rhodium(I) with Carbon Monoxide, Bis(diphenylphosphino)methane, or Bis(diphenylarsino)methane, and Various Anionic Ligands

Sanger, Alan R.

, p. 228 - 233 (2007/10/02)

Complexes of rhodium(I) with carbon monoxide, bis(diphenylphosphino)methane (dppm), or the arsine analogue (dpam), and a variety of anionic ligands are described, and the natures of each of the novel complexes are compared with those of known complexes containing terminal or bridging chloro-ligands.In solution in acetone-methanol and in the presence of halide ions (X=Cl(1-), Br(1-), or I(1-) cationic dinuclear 'A-frame' complexes (1+) and (1+) (L=dppm or dpam) are readily formed. In the presence of the pseudohalide ions (Z=CN(1-) or SCN(1-)) the neutral complexes are initially formed. The cyanocomplexes readily dissociate one (dppm) or two (dpam) moles of CO respectively. When Z is OCN(1-) or N3(1-) the products are dinuclear dicarbonyl complexes .
