The synthesis of 3-arylimino-5-(isopropylidenehydrazono-N)-1,2,4-dithiazolidines has been described by the oxidative debenzylation of the corresponding 1-(isopropylideneamino)-5-aryl-2-S-benzyliso-4-thiobiurets.These compounds have been characterized by the direct oxidation of the corresponding 2,4-dithiobiurets and also by i.r. spectra.
