77855-73-3 Usage
Introduction
Anilino-methyl-trimethoxysilane is a novel alfa silane. The close proximity of the nitrogen atom to the silicon atom can accelerate hydrolysis reaction compared to (amino-propyl)silanes.
Applications:
Anilino-methyl-trimethoxysilane can be used in the production of silyl modified polymers which serve as binders in adhesives and sealants;
Used as a crosslinker, water scavenger and adhesion promoter in silane-crosslinking formulations, such as adhesives, sealants and coatings;
Used as surface modifier for fillers (like glass, metal oxides, aluminum hydroxide, kaolin, wollastonite, mica) and pigments.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 77855-73-3 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number,starting from the left, has 5 digits, 7,7,8,5 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 77855-73:
(7*7)+(6*7)+(5*8)+(4*5)+(3*5)+(2*7)+(1*3)=183
183 % 10 = 3
So 77855-73-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

In the preparation of aminoorganylsilanes and cyclic aminosilanes by reaction of an organyl amine with a haloorganylsilane, the byproduct halide salt of the amine reactant is decomposed to amine by addition of a base whose halide salt forms a liquid phase at a temperature below 200° C., and the liquid base halide is separated from the reaction mixture.
