4-Arylmethyl-3-chloro-6-methylpyridazines (1) react with aniline and hydrazine hydrate to give 3-anilino-(2a-c)- and 3-hydrazino-(2d-f)-pyridazine derivatives, respectively.Sodium azide reacts with 1 to give the tetrazolopyridazines (4).Condensation of (1a,b) with benzaldehyde yields only 4-arylmethyl-6-methylpyridazin-3(2H)-ones (6).
