Synthesis of 1-(4-Substituted-phenyl)-2,5-disubstituted-benzimidazoles and N,N'-Diarylthioureas as Anthelmintic and Antimicrobial Agents

A series of 1-(4-substituted-phenyl)-2,5-disubstituted-benzimidazoles (15-18) and N,N'-diarylthioureas (19-28) have been prepared and their activity against various helminths, bacteria and fungi is reported.
