5-(dimethylsulfamoyl)-N-(5-methyl-1,3-thiazol-2-yl)-2-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)benzamide is used as an antiviral agent for its ability to display antiviral behavior against various flaviviruses, including Dengue, West Nile, Yellow fever, and Zika.
Used in Cancer Treatment:
5-(dimethylsulfamoyl)-N-(5-methyl-1,3-thiazol-2-yl)-2-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)benzamide is used as a chemosensitizer and radiosensitizer for its ability to overcome resistance to EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors in mutant NSCLC cells and enhance the radiosensitivity and cytotoxic effects of chemotherapy in glioma cells with high levels of RTK activation.
