Triphenyltin isoselenocyanate reacts with several N, O and S donor bases to give hitherto unknown, stable molecular adducts of 1:1 (metal : ligand) stoichiometry.The adducts have been characterised through elemental analyses, molar conductance, TG, IR, UV and PMR spectroscopic data.The compounds are highly active against several microorganisms and in some cases possess significantly enhanced activity as compared to the parent Ph3SnNCSe.
