Fragmentation of Golgi membranes by norrisolide and designed analogues

The marine natural product norrisolide was found to induce irreversible fragmentation of the Golgi membranes. A hypothesis accounting for the chemical origins of this effect is proposed based on structure/function studies of norrisolide and designed analo
