Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 79411-76-0 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 7,9,4,1 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 79411-76:
(7*7)+(6*9)+(5*4)+(4*1)+(3*1)+(2*7)+(1*6)=150
150 % 10 = 0
So 79411-76-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis of organyltellanyl(IV) trihalides [2-(Me2NCH2)C6H4TeX3] (X?=?Cl, Br, I) and their rare zwitterionic derivatives containing organyltellanyl(II) groups

da Silva, Felipe D.,Sim?es, Cláudia A.D.P.,dos Santos, Sailer S.,Lang, Ernesto S.

, p. 66 - 71 (2017/02/18)

In this article we describe the synthesis and structural characterization of a series of organyltellanyl(IV) trihalides containing the [2-((dimethylamino)methyl)phenyl] moiety [2-(Me2NCH2)C6H4TeX3] (X?=?Cl, Br, I), and some of its derivatives in the form of rare zwitterionic compounds with organyltellanyl(II) groups. The supramolecular structure of the different organyltellanyl halides presents considerable changes due to the nature of Te?X and X?X secondary interactions. The positive and negative charges of the zwitterionic compounds, the size of the halogens and the repulsion of the lone electron pairs around the tellurium atom were also evaluated. All compounds were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, vibrational spectroscopy (FT-IR and Raman) and NMR (1H and125Te) spectroscopy and elemental analysis.

Chloride-Promoted Synthesis of Cis Bis-Chelated Palladium(II) Complexes from Ortho-Mercurated tricarbonyl(η6-arene)chromium Complexes

Berger, Alexsandro,Djukic, Jean-Pierre,Pfeffer, Michel,Lacour, Jerome,Vial, Laurent,De Cian, Andre,Kyritsakas-Gruber, Nathalie

, p. 5243 - 5260 (2008/10/09)

A new method of synthesis of homo- and heteroleptic cis bis-chelated Pd(II) species by a transmetalation reaction of the ortho-mercurated 2-[tricarbonyl(η6-phenyl)chromium]pyridine with a series of bis(μ-chloro) palladacyclic aromatic compounds in the presence of a large excess of the chloride salt [NMe4Cl is reported. These (CO) 3Cr-bound bis-chelated Pd(II) species can be designed for the preparation of enantiopure planar chiral cyclopalladated (η 6-arene)Cr(CO)3 complexes. The study of the mechanism of this transmetalation reaction reveals the key role of the excess of chloride salt, which is necessary for the isolation of persistent heteroleptic bis-chelated Pd(II) complexes. This method was further applied to the synthesis of highly enantioenriched (+) and (-) samples of the ortho-chloropalladated 2-[tricarbonyl(η6-phenyl)chromium]pyridine, whose enantiopurity was assessed with the aid of diamagnetic λ and δ TRISPHAT salts used as chiral shift 1H NMR agents. The absolute configurations of the two enantioenriched complexes were obtained from the corresponding absolute structures determined by X-ray diffraction analyses. The molecular structures of six new heteroleptic bis-chelated Pd(II) complexes are reported.
