Electrochemical Allylation of Carbonyl Compounds Using Nickel Catalyst and Zinc(II) Species
Durandetti, Sylvie,Sibille, Soline,Perichon, Jacques
, p. 2198 - 2204 (2007/10/02)
An efficient electrosynthesis of homoallylic alcohols from allylic chlorides or acetates and carbonyl compounds in the presence of catalytic amounts of NiBr2(bpy) complex (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine) is achieved in a one-compartment cell fitted with a sacrificial zinc anode. The role of both Zn(II) and Ni(II) species in the coupling reaction is pointed out.An exchange between allylnickel and zinc species is suggested, on the basis of the stereochemistry and kinetics of the allyl addition.
STRUCTURE DU REACTIF D'IVANOV ET DE QUELQUES ORGANOMETALLIQUES ISSUS DES DERIVES PHENYLACETIQUES-II. STEREOCHEMIE DE LA CONDENSATION AVEC LA t-BUTYL-4 CYCLOHEXANONE
Mladenova, M.,Blagoev, B.,Gaudemar, M.,Gaudemar-Bardone, F.,Lallemand, J. Y.
, p. 2157 - 2164 (2007/10/02)
Ivanov reagent and some other analogous reagents (phenyl acetique serie) have been condensed with t-Bu-4 cyclohexanone in order to complete investigation of the reactive species. In all the cases, equatorial attack is highly predominant; it let suppose tha
