3',3'-cyclic-di-inosine monophosphate (c-di-IMP) is a cyclic dinucleotide found in certain foods, particularly in dried bonito, a type of fish. It is formed by the condensation of two inosine monophosphate (IMP) molecules, which is a nucleotide derived from the nucleoside inosine. c-di-IMP is known for its ability to enhance the umami taste, which is one of the five basic tastes alongside sweet, sour, bitter, and salty. Umami is often described as a savory or meaty flavor. 3',3'-cyclic-di-inosine monophospate is utilized in the food industry to boost the flavor of various products, making it a valuable ingredient in enhancing the taste profiles of dishes and seasonings.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 79940-41-3 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 7,9,9,4 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 79940-41:
(7*7)+(6*9)+(5*9)+(4*4)+(3*0)+(2*4)+(1*1)=173
173 % 10 = 3
So 79940-41-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis of Oligoinosinates with 2'-5' Internucleotide Linkage in Aqueous Solution Using Pb2+ Ion

Sawai, Hiroaki,Ohno, Masaji

, p. 2759 - 2762 (2007/10/02)

Oligoinosinates up to a pentamer were synthesized by the polymerization of inosine-5'-phosphorimidazolide in aqueous solution using Pb2+ ion. 2'-5' Internucleotide linkage was preferentially formed. The yields of the 2'-5' linked dimer, trimer, and tetramer were 14.8, 4.5, and 1.6percent, respectively.A small amount of linkage isomers of oligoinosinates with 3'-5' linkage was obtained. The products were characterized by sequential enzyme tests.
