Uses
Used in Textile Industry:
Disodium 3-[[4-[[4-amino-6(or 7)-sulphonatonaphthyl]azo]phenyl]azo]-6-[(2,4-diaminophenyl)azo]-4-hydroxynaphthalene-2-sulphonate is used as a dye for cellulose fiber glue, such as cotton and hemp. It is also suitable for dyeing silk and polyamide fibers. It is especially suitable for wool/stick blended fabric dyeing in a single bath.

Preparation
4-Nitrobenzenamine diazo, and 5-Aminonaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid and 8-Aminonaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid matches, will the nitro reduction for amino, product to diazo, and 6-Amino-4-hydroxynaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid?coupling, generation of accidentally nitrogen compounds to diazo, and Benzene-1,3-diamine coupling (31560). Note: the above structure is in (FIAT 764) about Columbia Black FF examples given in this, but the real structure have not been determined. 4-Nitrobenzenamine diazo, and 5-Aminonaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid and 8-Aminonaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid matches, will the nitro reduction for amino, product to diazo, in alkaline conditions and 6-Amino-4-hydroxynaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid?coupling, generation of accidentally nitrogen compounds to diazo, and 4-Methylbenzene-1,3-diamine coupling (C i.. 31565)
