Usage

General Description

SUC-GLY-PRO-AMC is a chemical compound consisting of sucrose (SUC) and the tripeptide glycine-proline-amc (GLY-PRO-AMC). It is often used as a substrate for enzymatic assays to measure the activity of peptidase enzymes. When cleaved by peptidases, the fluorescent 7-amino-4-methylcoumarin (AMC) molecule is released, allowing for the easy detection and quantification of enzyme activity. SUC-GLY-PRO-AMC is widely used in biochemistry and pharmaceutical research to study the kinetics and mechanisms of peptidase enzymes, as well as for drug development and screening.
