SAGE OIL, SPANISH is a colorless to slightly yellowish oil derived from the plant S. lavandulaefolia Vahl (or S. hispanorum Lag., Fam. Labiatae). It is soluble in most fixed oils, glycerin, mineral oil, and propylene glycol. The oil is obtained by steam distillation and has a camphoraceous odor with a cineole top note.
