Tetrazolylcoumarin derivatives of the general formula: STR1 wherein R is hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkoxyalkyl group or phenyl group, n is an integer of 2 to 4, and the R--O--(CH2)n --O-- group is substituted at any of the 5, 6, 7 and 8 positions of the coumarin ring, and the salts thereof. The compounds are useful as antiallergic agents for preventing and treating allergic diseases.
