Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 81495-71-8 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 8,1,4,9 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 81495-71:
(7*8)+(6*1)+(5*4)+(4*9)+(3*5)+(2*7)+(1*1)=148
148 % 10 = 8
So 81495-71-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

, p. 5032 - 5035 (2007/10/02)
The structure of a new secoiridoid glucoside, sambacolignoside (1), which had been isolated from Jasminum sambac (L.) Ait. together with sevven new oligomeric iridoid glucosides and oleoside 11-methyl ester (2), was elucidated as 7-)--oleoside 11-methyl ester. This is the first example of a lignan linked secoiridoid glucoside.
