A series of methyl 4H-imidazobenzoxazine- and methyl 4H-imidazobenzothiazine-2-carbamates (VIa-o) have been prepared in one-stop by the condensation of appropriately substituted 3-amino-2H-1,4-benzoxazine or 3-amino-2H-1,4-benzothiazine (III) with methyl (bromoacetyl)carbamate.None of the compounds exhibits any noteworthy anthelmintic activity.
