Complexes of the compositions MLX2 and ML2X2, where M is Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) or Cd(II); X is Cl(-), Br(-), NO3(-), SCN(-) or ClO4(-) and L is benzil phenyl hydrazone have been isolated and characterised on the basis of analysis, conductance, magnetic moment, infrared and electronic spectral studies.
