Synthesis and reactions of alkynyl oligosilanes
Mechtler, Christian,Zirngast, Michaela,Baumgartner, Judith,Marschner, Christoph
, p. 3254 - 3261 (2004)
Synthesis, properties, and reactions of various alkynyl oligosilanes, and their potassium derivatives are described. A series of tris(trimethylsilyl) silylalkynes have been prepared. Their reaction with potassium tert-butoxide leads to the corresponding potassium derivatives, which can be subjected to further derivatization. X-ray structures of three oligosilylalkynes are reported. Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, 69451 Weinheim, Germany, 2004.

The present invention relates to the technical field of organic light-emitting materials, and in particular relates to compounds, a light-emitting material, a device, and a display device. The compounds have a structure shown in the specification, and the
Cross-hyperconjugation: An unexplored orbital interaction between π-conjugated and saturated molecular segments

supporting information, p. 983 - 987 (2013/02/23)
Crossing a barrier: Molecules with saturated ER2 units (E=C or Si, R=electron-releasing group) inserted between two π-conjugated segments have electronic and optical properties that resemble those of cross-conjugated molecules (see figure). This cross-hyperconjugation provides a deeper understanding of the conjugation phenomenon, and is an alternative to cross-conjugation in the design of molecules for nano and materials applications.
