Hydroquinone-bis-difluorophosphite, also known as hydroquinone difluorophosphonate, is a chemical compound with the formula C6H6O2F2P2. It is derived from hydroquinone, a benzene derivative with two hydroxyl groups, and difluorophosphite, a phosphorus-containing compound with two fluorine atoms. hydroquinone-bis-{difluorophosphite} is formed by the reaction of hydroquinone with difluorophosphite, resulting in a molecule that contains both hydroquinone and difluorophosphite moieties. Hydroquinone-bis-difluorophosphite is used as a stabilizer and antioxidant in various industrial applications, particularly in the production of polymers and plastics, to prevent degradation and extend the product's lifespan. Its unique structure allows it to effectively scavenge free radicals and protect materials from oxidative damage.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 830-44-4 includes 6 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 3 digits, 8,3 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 830-44:
(5*8)+(4*3)+(3*0)+(2*4)+(1*4)=64
64 % 10 = 4
So 830-44-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Instant Ligands. Part 2. Preparation of Some Bidentate Ligands containing PF2O Groups from Aromatic Hydroxy Compounds, and their Reactions to form Molybdenum and Tungsten Complexes

Bell, Graeme A.,Rankin, David W. H.,Reinisch, Paul F.

, p. 3023 - 3028 (2007/10/02)

Three isomers of C6H4(OPF2)2, two of (C6H4OPF2)2, and seven of C10H6(OPF2)2 have been prepared by reactions of S(PF2)2 and the appropriate dihydroxy derivatives of benzene, biphenyl, and naphthalene, respectively. From these bidentate ligands, complexes have been prepared containing two Mo(CO)5 units or one Mo(CO)5 and one W(CO)5 unit linked by the ligands. With tetracarbonyl(norbornadiene)molybdenum, cyclic products with ligands bridging between cis-Mo(CO)4 units are formed. The relative stabilities of the various cyclic oligomers depend on the distance between the phosphorous donor sites, which varies widely in this set of ligands.
