1-Propanaminium cation
The compound contains a 1-propanaminium cation, which is a positively charged nitrogen atom bonded to a propane group.
N,N,N-Trimethyl
The 1-propanaminium cation is bonded to three methyl groups (CH3), which are organic groups consisting of one carbon atom and three hydrogen atoms.
2,3-Bis[[12-[(2-nitrophenyl)methoxy]-1,12-dioxododecyl]oxy]
The compound contains a long hydrocarbon chain (dodecyl) with two nitrophenyl groups attached. The chain has two hydroxyl groups (OH) attached to it, which are ether-linked to the nitrophenyl groups.
Iodide anion
The compound also contains an iodide anion (I-), which is a negatively charged ion.
Surfactant and emulsifier
The compound is often used as a surfactant and emulsifier in various industrial applications, such as in the production of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and personal care products. It helps to stabilize and disperse substances that are normally immiscible, such as oil and water.
Cleaning products and detergents
The compound can also be used in cleaning products and detergents due to its ability to stabilize and disperse substances.
Antimicrobial properties
The compound has antimicrobial properties, making it useful in disinfectants and sanitizing products.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 830322-75-3 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 8,3,0,3,2 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 830322-75:
(8*8)+(7*3)+(6*0)+(5*3)+(4*2)+(3*2)+(2*7)+(1*5)=133
133 % 10 = 3
So 830322-75-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Functional synthetic molecules and macromolecules for gene delivery
-
Page/Page column 58-59, (2008/06/13)
The present invention describes a synthetic non-viral vector composition for gene therapy and the use of such compositions for in vitro, ex vivo and/or in vivo transfer of genetic material. The invention proposes a pharmaceutical composition containing 1) a non-cationic amphiphilic molecule or macromolecule and its use for delivery of nucleic acids or 2) a cationic amphiphilic molecule or macromolecule that transforms from a cationic entity to an anionic, neutral, or zwitterionic entity by a chemical, photochemical, or biological reaction and its use for delivery of nucleic acids. Moreover this invention describes the use of these non-viral vector compositions in conjunction with a surface to mediate the delivery of nucleic acids. An additional embodiment is the formation of a hydrogel with these compositions and the use of this hydrogel for the delivery of genetic material. A further embodiment of this invention is the use of a change in ionic strength for the delivery of genetic material.
