Unimolar reaction products of aluminium isopropoxide with monobasic bidentate and bibasic tridentate schiff bases have been isolated.The resulting unsymmetrical derivatives of the type have been compared with their oxygen analogues, i.e. , and characterized with the help of various physicochemical techniques such as UV, IR, PMR and mass spectra and TGA, and dipole moment measurements.
