The invention discloses an active dark blue dyestuff and a preparation method of the active dark blue dyestuff. The active dark blue dyestuff has a structure shown as a formula (I). Compared with the prior art, the active dark blue dyestuff monomeric compound disclosed by the invention has a novel structure and excellent performances, and has good color fastness and high color fixation ratio; the dyestuff is stable, has good washing resistance, friction resistance and sunlight fastness and is stably combined with fibers; a finished product has excellent brightness and is suitable for large-scale popularization and application.
