A number of complexes of the composition MLX2 or ML2X2, where M is Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn or Cd, X is Cl-, NCS- or ClO4- and L is benzil semicarbazone have been synthesised and characterised on the basis of analysis, conductance, magnetic susceptibility, infrared and electronis spectral data.
