Previously unknown derivates and also propyl 2-chloro-1,1-diethylcarbamate were obtained by the reaction of 3-chloro-2,2-dipropionyl chloride with ammonia, hydrazine hydrate, hydroxylamine, and sodium azide.With the exception of 3-chloro-2,2-dipropionamide, the products underwent intramolecular thermal cyclization with the formation of five-membered nitrogen-containing heterocycles.
