"10,11-Diethyl-12-phenyl-8,12-bis(trimethylsilyl)-10,11-diaza-1,9-diphosphatricyclo<7.2.1.02,7>dodeca-2,4,6-trien" is a complex organic compound with a unique molecular structure. It features a tricyclic framework with a phosphorus atom at the center, connected to two nitrogen atoms, forming a diaza group. The molecule also includes a phenyl group and two trimethylsilyl groups, which are organosilicon moieties that contribute to its stability and reactivity. The compound's structure is characterized by the presence of a 1,9-diphosphatricyclo system, which is a key feature of its chemical properties. 10,11-Diethyl-12-phenyl-8,12-bis(trimethylsilyl)-10,11-diaza-1,9-diphosphatricyclo<7.2.1.02,7>dodeca-2,4,6-trien is of interest in the field of organophosphorus chemistry, potentially for its applications in materials science or as a precursor in the synthesis of more complex molecules.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 84440-38-0 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 8,4,4,4 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 84440-38:
(7*8)+(6*4)+(5*4)+(4*4)+(3*0)+(2*3)+(1*8)=130
130 % 10 = 0
So 84440-38-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Low Coordinated Phosphorus Compounds. 12. Diels Alder Reactions of Phosphaalkenes

Appel, Rolf,Korte, Stephan,Halstenberg, Mechthild,Knoch, Falk

, p. 3610 - 3617 (2007/10/02)

N,N'-Diorganylhydrazines 1a - e react with chlorophosphane (2) to yield the diazadiphosphahexadienes 3a - e as non isolable intermediates. 3a - e give an intramolecular Diels Alder reaction with participation of two PC double bonds to form the tricyclic compounds 5a - e.The α-C-branched hydrazines 1f - h yield the phosphaalkenes 6f - h via mono-substitution.These surprising results are confirmed by spectroscopy as well as partly by X-ray structure determination. This observation is another evidence for the relationship between the PC double bond and the olefin systems.
