"10,11,12-Triphenyl-8,12-bis-trimethylsilanyl-10,11-diaza-1,9-diphospha-tricyclo[7.2.1.02,7]dodeca-2,4,6-triene" is a complex organic compound with a unique molecular structure. It features a tricyclo[7.2.1.02,7]dodeca-2,4,6-triene core, which is a type of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon. The molecule is further characterized by the presence of three phenyl groups attached to the 10, 11, and 12 positions, which contribute to its stability and electronic properties. The 8 and 12 positions are substituted with trimethylsilanyl groups, which are organosilicon moieties that can influence the compound's reactivity and solubility. The 10,11-diaza group introduces nitrogen atoms into the molecule, potentially affecting its coordination chemistry and electronic structure. 10,11,12-Triphenyl-8,12-bis-trimethylsilanyl-10,11-diaza-1,9-diphospha-tricyclo[7.2.1.02,7]dodeca-2,4,6-triene is of interest in the field of organophosphorus chemistry and may have applications in materials science and catalysis due to its novel structure and properties.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 84440-43-7 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 8,4,4,4 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 84440-43:
(7*8)+(6*4)+(5*4)+(4*4)+(3*0)+(2*4)+(1*3)=127
127 % 10 = 7
So 84440-43-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Low Coordinated Phosphorus Compounds. 12. Diels Alder Reactions of Phosphaalkenes

Appel, Rolf,Korte, Stephan,Halstenberg, Mechthild,Knoch, Falk

, p. 3610 - 3617 (2007/10/02)

N,N'-Diorganylhydrazines 1a - e react with chlorophosphane (2) to yield the diazadiphosphahexadienes 3a - e as non isolable intermediates. 3a - e give an intramolecular Diels Alder reaction with participation of two PC double bonds to form the tricyclic compounds 5a - e.The α-C-branched hydrazines 1f - h yield the phosphaalkenes 6f - h via mono-substitution.These surprising results are confirmed by spectroscopy as well as partly by X-ray structure determination. This observation is another evidence for the relationship between the PC double bond and the olefin systems.
