The invention discloses a method for synthesizing 2-formylfuran-4-pinacolyl borate. The method comprises the following steps of using furfural as a raw material, reacting with pyrrolidine in the presence of perchloric acid, next, brominating with NBS (N-Bromosuccinimide), finally, reacting with lithium metal and a chlorine-boron reagent, and adding pinacol to subsequently obtain the 2-formylfuran-4-pinacolyl borate. A location effect is good in the method, and a problem that 2-formyl-4-bromofuran can be subsequently obtained only by needing abundant aluminum trichloride to react with a bromineelement to obtain 2-formyl-4,5-dibromofuran and next reacting with butyl lithium to remove position-5 bromine in a previous synthesis method is solved, and the method is suitable for industrialized scale-up production.
