Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 84650-91-9 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 8,4,6,5 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 84650-91:
(7*8)+(6*4)+(5*6)+(4*5)+(3*0)+(2*9)+(1*1)=149
149 % 10 = 9
So 84650-91-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

The complexes cis- react with Li2(PhPPPh) to give .Complex (1) reacts with (thf= tetrahydrofuran) to give (2).Complexes were characterized by 31P-(1H) n.m.r. spectroscopy.X-ray crystal-structure determinations of complexes (1) and (2) reveal nearly identical and planar PdP4 mieties comprising the donor atoms of L2 and η2- ligands. In (2) the two diphosphene lone pairs co-ordinate to W(CO)5 groups and the W-P bonds are bent 32 deg away from the Pd atom. The diphosphene P-P bond in (2) is 0.06 angstroem longer than that in (1) , which is similar to that in other diphosphene complexes and is approxymately mid-way between the P-P single and double bond lengths.Small values of the coupling constants 1J(PtP) and 2J(PP) involving the diphosphene ligand indicate that the diphosphene uses electrons of low s character in η2-co-ordination.

The structure of , dppe = bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane, obtained by a new and potentially general synthesis, is essentially planar with only a 3 deg twist between the two PdP2 planes and a P-P bond distance of 2.121(4) Angstrom; 31P n.m.r. data on the analogous platinum complexes show very small s-character in the Pt-P(diphosphene) bonds, suggesting that the structure is essentially a diphosphene bound to Pt0 rather than that of a diphosphido(2-) ligand bound to PtII.
